Waiting for Gygax
A downloadable game
Waiting for Gygax is a tabletop roleplaying game in which you play daring adventurers doing absolutely nothing. You are plunderers, fighters, explorers, looters, and heroes who explore parts of a fantastical world where only the brave or the foolhardy would venture. But not right now. For the purposes of this story, you really do fuck all.
To play, you’ll need at least three people. You’ll trade off who acts as the Game Master over the course of play. In theory, the game uses a six-sided die (d6) for action resolution. You can make do without one. It also uses a twenty-sided die (d20) to generate random encounters and narrative prompts. This is also optional.
This game was inspired by the world’s okayest roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons, the hit TV show Seinfeld, and the molasses-paced D&D soap opera Critical Role. It is dedicated to every adventuring party that originally met in a tavern.

This gave me some really good laughs and made me wish I was your friend. Excellent work
The tables are neat. I’ll definitely be using the small events (romance and fly).
I normally don't go for really crunchy mechanics like this, but the complex narrative made up for it.
Really funny
